I am a Filipino-born fashion designer and marketing entrepreneur based in Fiji. As a cancer survivor and mumpreneur.
I founded Style Maya (MAYA) to design clothing that empowers women – blending comfort, style, and sustainability for breastfeeding mothers and cancer patients.
With two decades in Fiji, my work has featured at Vodafone Fiji Fashion Week and been recognized through awards like the Pacific Green Incubator Program. Alongside fashion, I lead 8finity Advertising, offering creative and digital solutions for businesses.
My journey is rooted in resilience, creativity, and a passion for empowering women.
Rpsie Emberson Semisi
I am a Fijian fashion designer, creative director, and mentor with over 20 years of experience.
Through my label RES Fiji, I celebrate Pacific heritage with bold prints and Masi (traditional
barkcloth). Beyond design, I mentor Fiji’s next generation of fashion talent.
My work has graced runways across Fiji,
Australia, and New Zealand, honoring Pacific creativity and strength.
Moira Solvalu
I am Moira Solvalu, an award-winning Fijian fashion and interior designer and founder of 8Mountains. Since 2009, my designs have fused Fijian and Polynesian heritage with modern silhouettes, always featuring my signature black-and-gold piece.
Through 8Mountains_Sustainable, I explore responsible design that honors culture and environment.
Recognized with awards like the Prime Minister’s Business Excellence Recognition Award (2019), Pm passionate about using fashion as a platform for storytelling, healing, and cultural celebration.
